We always strive to do our best, but we cannot guarantee perfection. If you have something come up, let us know, and we’ll do out best to accommodate you.

Know that our property sits right on Coast Highway, and while that’s incredibly convenient and we’ve gone to great lengths to enhance a sense of privacy and quiet, there is some traffic noise.

Sometimes there’s live music.

We want you to feel at home, so let us know what we can do to make it that way.

 

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-In: 4:00 PM
Check-Out: 11:30 AM

Early Check-In (1:00 PM): $25 (subject to availability)
Late Check-Out (1:30 PM): $25 (subject to availability)

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations or modifications must be received by 4:00 PM, 5 days prior to arrival.

Cancellations within 5 days of arrival, no-shows, cancellations after check-in, or early departures will be charged in full (room + tax).

A one-night deposit is charged at booking and is refundable outside the cancellation window (less a $50 fee), unless a non-refundable rate is selected.

A $50 cancellation / rebooking / modification fee (per room) applies and may be used as a credit toward a future stay.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.

Good Faith Rebooking

If plans change within the non-refundable window, we will make a good faith effort to rebook your room.

Any recovered revenue will be refunded, less the $50 fee. Rebooking may require discounted rates or room adjustments and is not guaranteed.

Refunds, if applicable, are issued within 10 days of the final night of the original reservation.

General Policies & Agreement

By completing your reservation and accepting check-in, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • You have confirmed your rate, dates, and room type, and understand that room sizes, layouts, and decor vary

  • Specific room assignments are not guaranteed; rooms may be reassigned within the same or upgraded category

  • You agree to vacate the room by 11:30 AM; late check-out may incur applicable fees

  • One parking space is permitted per room; violations may result in a $50 per night fee

  • The property is privately owned and reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a stay if necessary

  • Housekeeping is provided upon request and will not enter rooms unless requested or required

  • The hotel is not responsible for money, jewelry, documents, or other valuables

  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay and authorize charges for repair or replacement

  • Chargebacks or disputed charges that are unsuccessful may incur a $250 administrative fee

Pet Policy

We welcome up to two well-behaved pets (no puppies or aggressive breeds).

A $75 per stay fee applies (for up to two pets).

Pets must be supervised at all times or properly crated when left alone.

Pets are not permitted on furniture or beds. Violations will result in a minimum $150 cleaning surcharge.

Failure to disclose pets may result in a $250 penalty and/or termination of the stay without refund.

Any damage, excessive hair, noise, or disturbances caused by pets may result in additional charges and/or removal from the property without refund.

Service animals covered under ADA guidelines are exempt.

Guest Conduct

Parties or events are not permitted without prior written approval. Violations may result in a $250 fee and/or termination of stay without refund.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

If another guest is disturbing the peace, please contact us and we will work to resolve the issue promptly.

Guests who violate quiet hours may receive one or more warnings. Repeated or significant disturbances may result in termination of the stay without refund at management’s discretion.

If An Issue Arises

We are committed to resolving any issues promptly.

If a serious mechanical issue (plumbing, HVAC, electrical) cannot be resolved, you may choose to check out and receive a refund for that night.

If you choose to remain in the room, refunds for that issue will generally not apply.

The sooner you communicate any concerns, the better we can assist.

Amenities & Use (Assumption of Risk)

All amenities — including the cedar hot tub (spa), bicycles, surfboards, boogie boards, firepit, and beach equipment — are provided for guest enjoyment at your own risk.

By using these amenities, you acknowledge and agree that The Green Room Hotel is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from their use.

Guests are expected to exercise reasonable care:

  • Bicycles: Helmets are recommended and available nearby during normal business hours

  • Surfing: Please use lifeguarded beaches such as Carlsbad State Beach and Oceanside Harbor Beach

  • Spa: Use caution when entering/exiting; surfaces may be slippery. Contact us if assistance is needed with the cover

  • Firepit: Do not leave unattended while in use

Guests are responsible for any misuse or damage to equipment.

Property Use & Amenities

Beach Towels: Complimentary ($45 replacement fee if lost)
Bikes, Boards & Gear: Complimentary; must be returned (damage charged at cost)

Rollaway Bed: $50 per stay (must request by noon same day)
Workspace: Available in select rooms

Food & Beverage

Snacks and beverages are provided in-room and will be charged to the card on file based on usage.

Firepit Use

Please turn the firepit on and off at time of use. Exercise caution when lighting and operating.

Do not leave unattended. Supervise children at all times.

Spa (Hot Tub)

Maintained at 103°F. There are no jets. Please ensure the gate is securely closed after use.

Use at your own risk. Contact us if assistance is needed with the cover.
